The Innovative Process Of Jiu Jitsu

We spend a lot of time talking about, and espousing, the basics here at BishopBjj.com, but that doesn’t mean the concept of innovation is lost on us. Innovation is what created the form of jiu jitsu that we all enjoy so much. Helio Gracie at his very core was an innovator. In our current era of jiu jitsu, we may be experiencing a large second-wave of jiu jitsu innovation due to the sports large rise in popularity. In the video above we highlight some of the latest innovations and their innovators. We are going to do this series in parts (so this is part 1).
